• Develop and implement a strategic plan for parent and family engagement aligned with the university’s enrollment and retention goals.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and vision to the Parent and Family Engagement team.
• Work closely with the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management to align parent and family engagement initiatives with overall enrollment strategies.
• Collaborate on data-driven decision-making to enhance the effectiveness of parent and family programs.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of professionals to support various aspects of parent and family engagement.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on achieving departmental goals.
• Collaborate with the admissions team to create and implement parent and family-focused programs during the admission process.
• Ensure a smooth transition for admitted students and their families through targeted communication and events.
• Partner with the financial aid office to develop and deliver educational programs for parents and families regarding financial aid options, scholarship opportunities, and financial literacy.
• Oversee the planning and execution of family-oriented events, orientation programs, and workshops to enhance parent and family understanding of university resources and processes.
• Analyze data related to parent and family engagement, admissions, and enrollment trends.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management based on data analysis.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, families, and key stakeholders to create a sense of community and involvement.
• Facilitate networking opportunities and forums for parents to connect with each other.
• Serve as a key liaison during crisis situations, providing support and timely communication to parents and families.
• Collaborate with relevant university departments to address challenges and concerns.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong data management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Understanding of higher education admissions processes is a plus.
