We have an immediate need for a Resident Engagement Coordinator

The Resident Engagement Coordinator is the customer service champion for our Independent Living (IL) residents. The primary goal of this position is to provide extensive programming to ensure satisfied, cheerful, and engaged residents while assisting with dining services, as determined by the Executive Director. Resident satisfaction is assured through a robust engagement program, excellent dining services and ongoing communication. The Resident Engagement Coordinator role is one of our most creative, energetic, and resident-focused positions, developing strong emotional connections to our resident and their families.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as the ambassador to the Independent Living residents within the community.
• Develop and schedule events and entertainment for the Independent Living residents, giving them the opportunity to gather together and socialize.
• Develop and distribute a monthly activities calendar for the Independent Residents.
• Oversees the daily functions of the IL Clubhouse.
• Transports residents to and from community outings using the community passenger vehicles.
• Host monthly resident meetings to answer questions, provide announcements, hear feedback and concerns.
• Takes a leadership role in decorating and celebrating the major holidays.

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification

• Associate degree or higher in Hospitality, Business Administration, Communication, or similar disciplines.
• Excellent public speaking, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• 2 years of customer service experience preferably within Senior Living and Hospitality.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
