Medication Aide Job Profile

• Medication administration and supervision
• Management of medication supply and medication cart
• Obtaining, recording, and reporting vital signs
• Processing medication re-orders
• Dressing, grooming, shower assistance
• Reporting of health status concerns
• Assistance during dining services with escorting, serving, and clean up
• Bed-making, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience passing medication preferred, but not required
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced work environment
• Positive attitude and interest in working with the elderly
• Ability to stand for 80% of shift
• Ability to use a computer, pager, and smart phone
• Ability to use a pager and smart phone
• Ability to count and calculate simple math & use a calculator
• Certification is not required. *Residency within the State that this Community / Location operates in is a condition of employment.
