We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. This is a long-term position ideal for someone with a stable work history. The successful candidate will lead a small team of designers and drafters, primarily focusing on mechanical engineering projects. This role involves modifying designs for new and existing products, project management, and includes some travel to customer sites along the Eastern Seaboard (10-15% travel).

• Lead a team of designers and drafters.
• Modify and develop designs for new and existing products.
• Travel with sales personnel to customer sites to assess needs (10-15% travel, primarily on the Eastern Seaboard, starting in 1-2 years into role).
• Review customer specifications and project timelines.
• Perform individual contributor work while leading the team.
• Utilize AutoCAD 3D and Mastercam for machinists.
• Oversee the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and product management.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional development of staff.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering and project management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $145000.00
