Job Purpose

Manage inventory cycle and inventory accuracy. Ensure contract and material compliance for suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Orders material for production lines in assigned building locations and cribs
• Reviews planned orders, current inventories, and issues purchase orders
• Manages Inventory Cycle Count Program; prints monthly cycle counts with counts performed by direct reports
• Runs reports to analyze EDI demand forecasting for 12-month production; compares LN reports to MRC to make sure they are aligned
• Serves as backup for indirect purchases and places orders for shop floor needs
• Supervise, evaluate, and support work of direct reports
• Perform physical inventories
• Act as customer service POC for multiple accounts
• May assist with supplier and customer negotiations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field of study required
• 5 years of experience in inventory control and/or management
• 5 years’ experience managing the work of others
• Experience forecasting and budgeting
• Experience using SAP or other related software
• Microsoft Office skills required
