As a Engineering Manager, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and components related to commercial kitchen equipment. From concept development to prototyping and testing, you will play a key role in bringing our projects to life. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong engineering/project management skills, hands on development capabilities, and understanding of heat transfer, gas combustion, and basic electrical heating systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manages the work associated with mechanical engineering functions of an organization.
2. Oversees the research, design, testing, and production of mechanical products and systems.
3. Maintains resources and ensures cost containment to meet budget guidelines.
4. Directs project development and delegates assignments to subordinate employees.
5. Coordinates with engineering departments on special projects, evaluates performance, and inspects equipment.
6. Provides insight on department performance needs and project status to department heads.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
8. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
9. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
10. Understanding of heat transfer, gas combustion, and basic electrical heating systems.
11. Working with technologies of heat transfer and gas combustion with a strong understanding of the underlying principles and
application involved.
12. Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting,
strategic planning, and procedural change.
13. Design and develop mechanical systems and components in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
14. Conduct feasibility studies and perform analysis to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.

Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience.
2. Leadership skills, ability to foster teamwork.
3.Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, and prototyping, preferably in a
manufacturing setting with sheet metal.
4. Oral and written communication skills and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
6. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks,) for 3D modeling and drafting.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical challenges.
8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of work.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet
deadlines.
10.Knowledge of related heat transfer and gas combustion.
