Patient Account Representative (CBO)

Seeking a Patient Account Representative in Johnson City, TN at our Central Billing Office. Office hours are typically 8-5, Monday through Friday.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prioritize delinquent accounts by age and dollar amount.
• Perform collection activities; contact patients and resubmit claims to third-party payors.
• Submit copies of office notes and operative reports.
• Review third-party Explanation of Benefits for appropriate payment.
• Answer patient questions and inquiries regarding their account.
• Identify and solve patient billing complaints.
• Compile information and prepare reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE:

Two years of collection experience in the medical field.
