Enrollment & Billing Representative jobs in Lima, OH

Hours of Job

• Full-time 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• No Holidays or Weekends Required

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Processes and follows-up on all assigned location insurance claims until proper reimbursement is received.
• Processes all assigned payer claims according to carrier guidelines.
• Makes all necessary corrections on assigned location claims for submission.
• Changes date of follow-up on hospital's information system when account has been worked.
• Processes mail and explanation of benefits related to assigned location accounts.
• Processes hard-copy billing, documenting amount and date sent on office’s information system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Typing, basic math calculations, computer oriented, and good verbal skills.
• Able to work without direct supervision, work well in a group setting.
• Very Detail Oriented
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
• Ability to recall detail and Health Insurances procedures/ processes.

Education/Certifications

• High School graduate

Experience

• Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
