Enterprise Infrastructure Director manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Director determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Director is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Infrastructure Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Enterprise Infrastructure Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     About the Position

    You’ll join a top-notch team and will provide leadership in the day-to-day maintenance and operations of compute, storage, voice, video, data, network, and cloud computing environments. This role will be responsible for providing streamlined, efficient, and effective technical support services (device management) across the WEI ecosystem. Deep experience in combining industry best practices with day-to-day planning and management of internal and third-party infrastructure and operations is key.

    Responsibilities

    • Leads planning, development, implementation, and communication of the organization’s infrastructure solutions, technology, and processes.
    • Monitors the effectiveness of the delivery of Infrastructure and Operational Support services and implements process revisions to drive continuous improvement.
    • Establishes operating metrics that drive productivity, efficiencies, staff management, and operational excellence.
    • Establishes standards and processes to ensure efficient, effective, highly stable devices (laptops, cell phones) that are easy to use.
    • Partners with the cybersecurity team to ensure that the infrastructure meets all security requirements and continues to evolve over time to meet changing needs and best practices.
    • Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations.
    • Develops and maintains relationships with external technology vendors and service providers to ensure alignment in goals and seamless execution.
    • Participates in change control board process for review and approval of impacting changes.
    • Participates in the development and review of IT budgets.
    • Provides leadership, supervision, coaching and guidance across the team to achieve organizational and departmental goals and create a high-performing workforce.
    • Partners with IT leadership, business leaders and service providers to provide strategic solutions and operational efficiencies.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications required for your success

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science required; master’s degree or MBA preferred or commensurate experience in lieu of degree.
    • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience and successful operation of Infrastructure Operations teams and complex cloud technology environments.
    • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
    • Experience managing vendor relationships and reviewing vendor contracts, statements of work and related documents for infrastructure services and solutions.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of staff management, development, mentoring, providing performance feedback and regular evaluation of team members to achieve success.
    • Demonstrated individual leadership and team building skills across experience levels and various parts of the organization.
    • Knowledgeable in current technology trends including the impact of cloud and operations automation on IT Operations and service delivery (support models, service level agreements).
    • Must have strong communications and relationship-building skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
