    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Director of Global Infrastructure to oversee our organization's technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the global IT Infrastructure team, ensuring the effective design, implementation, and operation of all physical and cloud-based infrastructure systems.

    This position will help manage global IT resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands. Implements IT continuous programs with enterprise guidelines. Works with cross-functional IT teams as well as other business owners to design, develop, plan, and implement IT strategic initiatives.

    You will be responsible for-

    • Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and execution of long-term IT infrastructure strategies that aligns with the organization's overall objectives. Oversee the transition of infrastructure services to the cloud, where appropriate.
    • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals in managing the organization's infrastructure. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Project Management: Oversee large-scale IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new installations. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Vendor Management: Work with the VP of Infrastructure to manage relationships with vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure optimal service levels.
    • Security and Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations. Oversee the implementation of security measures to protect data and systems while working with the IT security teams.
    • Budget Management: Assist with the development of the IT infrastructure budget. Make cost-effective decisions regarding upgrades and new initiatives.
    • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
    • Technology Assessment: Regularly evaluate modern technology trends and solutions for potential value to the organization.
    • Implements and manages operational initiative with complete autonomy.
    • Establishes technology related services and support at the Enterprise level, to include governance and methodologies to enable the reliability, availability and security of enterprise systems and solutions.
    • Works on overly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business units. Must have the technical expertise to understand and assist with decision making as well as troubleshooting.
    • Makes decisions for the organization based on the highest degree of technical complexity and through understanding that far-reaching implications across the IT organization and the enterprise.
    • Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

    What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is-

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Prior experience managing global teams.
    • Proven experience in cloud computing, network architecture, and data center management.
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
    • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and Projects.
    • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
    • Must be able to work in a team oriented, fast-paced environment and work under pressure
    • Excellent project management skills, with a history of successful IT project delivery.
    • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Customer service driven and a strong end-user orientation.
    • Exercising sound judgment when making decisions.
    • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Salary Pay Range: $168,000.00 - $312,000.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
    • Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS (or as applicable).
    • Benefits: MKS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage (medical, dental and vision), 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance, 11 paid holidays, sick time, 15 paid vacation days, (6 weeks fully paid) parental leave, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement (and for participation in any stock programs, signing bonus, etc.).
