Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. This key position is located within the Advanced Technology organization at the PACCAR Technical Center. The Advanced Technology team is leading R&D projects in strategic technology domains including clean Diesel powertrains, Battery Electric Vehicles, Fuel-Cell Electric Vehicles, Charging Infrastructure, Autonomy and V2X Connectivity. Most of the team’s activities are incorporated into Department of Energy funded programs from which the PACCAR SuperTruck 3 program is the largest.
This role will support tool development and life-cycle analysis (LCA) evaluations of future vehicle and infrastructure technologies based on field deployment and high-fidelity simulations. Work will be performed with Argonne National Laboratories, leveraging their experience and LCA tools to calculate key elements such as Green-house Gas emissions and Total Cost of Ownership.
