Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. **Enterprise Infrastructure, part of IT Services at the University of Iowa, is seeking to hire either a Systems Architect (pay grade 6B) or a Senior Systems Administrator (pay grade 5B). The level and classification will be based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.**
Systems Architect:
As a valued member of the Enterprise Infrastructure Core Application Services team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the design and maintenance of systems using a wide variety of technologies You will also work with a team lead in Enterprise Infrastructure to further advance your technical and leadership skills, build relationships, and lead others through the development of new and existing services. As a Systems Architect, some of your job duties may include:
Senior Systems Administrator:
As a valued member of the Enterprise Infrastructure Core Application Services team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies. You will also work with a team lead in Enterprise Infrastructure to develop a mentoring plan to enhance your existing technical skills, build relationships, and incorporate your input and technical skills in the development of new and existing services. As a Senior Systems Administrator, some of your job duties may include:

Occasional off-hours and weekend work will be required along with participation in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
