Infrastructure Development Manager
Nature of Work
The Infrastructure Development Manager supervises and manages the Infrastructure Development work group of the Capital Development Department to deliver a variety of capital projects to improve and sustain effective project delivery. The position is responsible for helping assigned project managers. The position’s profile requires high levels of interpersonal engagement, particularly within STA, to support objectives of the department, working across divisions of the agency to ensure timely results. Manager supports the Capital Development Department and the Department of Planning and Development in improving project management tools, procedures, and performance measurements. Additional responsibilities include providing technical and quality guidance to the STA Executive Team as directed.
Supervision Received
Position is under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of Capital Development. Active oversight by the
Chief Planning and Development Officer is also provided.
Supervision Exercised
The position supervises assigned project managers within the Capital Development department.
Essential Functions
o Permitting and funding agencies and transportation officials in ensuring ongoing cooperation and partnership in improving public transportation in the region. o Consultants and contractors who work with STA to ensure satisfactory performance of contract work. o Collaboration with other departments throughout STA, especially with Finance and Planning and
Grants, to ensure efficient and effective use of grant and local resources in implementing capital projects.

Minimum Requirements
Training and Experience
Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience as a project or program manager in a related design, engineering or construction field, with three years or more of supervisory experience of professional staff. A graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field from an accredited school is preferred. A professional engineer (PE) license or project management professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
Physical Capabilities
The physical requirements of this position include accessing job sites that may require climbing a ladder, crouching or walking long distances. Office work is generally sedentary in nature. The position requires communication orally or in writing.
Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.

Annual salary of $89,423 - $119,835 depending on qualifications
