In this role you will invent and lead, support and build new capabilities around demand forecasting, capacity analysis, and operations modeling. You will analyze data, create models, and present findings to a broader group, often as part of a strategy narrative. This role is inherently cross-functional – you will work closely with business strategy, engineering, design, operations, finance and executive teams to roll out your plans and create a feedback loop into the planning and modeling process.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with CCB Risk Application Owner (AO) teams to solidify infrastructure (VSI, SAN, NAS, AWS, Cloud services, etc.) requirements for new and existing projects
Aligning to LOB patterns and standard services. Driving cost efficiencies, risk & compliance and adherence to critical application framework through the use of standard services
Responsible for managing the Infrastructure Forecasting Estimation Tool (iFET) for documenting all infrastructure requested for developer’s projects
Apply infrastructure knowledge to assist the AO’s in refining their requirements and approval meetings to obtain approvals to procure the requested infrastructure
Work with post-approval teams to ensure the project is completed as planned
Manage the decommission requests for former AO infrastructure
Track financial implications of new and old infrastructure to ensure projects stay within budget using QlikView (i.e. end-user proficiency to run reports)
Monthly reconciliation of infrastructure billing
Monitors existing infrastructure to determine if anything is not being fully utilized to identify potential reduction and decommission and provision plans
Quality Assurance (QA) test new infrastructure request forms
Provides assistance and bridge the gap between AOs and Finance team during budget planning season
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

5-10 years working with infrastructure, financial analysis, and project management.
Solid understanding of cloud (private/public, AWS) and virtualization / VM’s
Strong, demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Experience within enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders & technology
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to face-off with senior level business sponsorship.
Experience with infrastructure financial analysis, forecasting, planning and estimation modeling
Understanding or have experience with Agile and Lean methodologies
Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
