Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     About the Business

     

    Medicine Creek Café is a mid-sized café (under 30 tables) open Wed-Mon from 7am until 2pm. We have built long-lasting relationships with our client base, and have loyal customers from several local communities as well as Joint Base Lewis-McChord. There are currently 8 front-of-house staff and a full kitchen staff, including a kitchen manager.

     

    Summary of Position

    ·         The Café’s Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest services and meeting or exceeding budget targets. The position is responsible for the various tasks involved in the overall operation of the Cafe, including measuring business trends, maximizing sales/profitability by developing staff and by controlling expenses, shortages and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

    ·         Ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services.

    ·         Recruits, trains, develops and communicates with all staff as well as assesses performance on a regular basis.

    ·         Implements and maintains guest service standards.

    ·         Maintains all merchandising standards, display presentations and signing standards and monitors inventory levels.

    ·         Plans and assigns daily goals, tasks and assignments.

    ·         Ensures proper completion through follow-up. Assists in monitoring sales performance through the analysis of sales reports and comparison shopping.

    ·         Assists in adjusting strategies.

    ·         Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures.

    ·         Manages all office tasks, including management of funds and media, receiving, inventory and payroll.

    ·         Manages annual budget and maintains appropriate margins.

    ·         Performs any other duties as assigned by General Manager.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    ·         This position manages all employees of the Cafe and is responsible for leadership of the employees within its business.

     

    Physical Demands

    ·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

    ·         This job requires the employee to lift at least 25 pounds infrequently.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    ·         This is a full-time position. Must be able to work weekends.

     

    Required Education and Experience

    ·         Must be 21 years of age or older.

    ·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

    ·         5 years of experience in a General Manager, Asst. Manager or Associate Manager position in a café, restaurant or similar business.

    ·         Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    ·         Must be a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership skills and a cheerful disposition.

    ·         Experience cash handling, merchandising, inventory control, scheduling of employees, P&L responsibility determining price margins and labor costing.

    ·         Computer literate with expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

     

    Rate of Pay

    ·         $56,333-$69,765 per year (DOE).
