    General Purpose:  Reporting to the VP Enterprise Applications, the Enterprise Applications Manager will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise applications.  This position is a liaison among internal team members and external vendors, and requires an understanding of the structure, policies, and operations of the organization, in order to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. 

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities

    1. Lead the team(s) that oversees the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our organization’s enterprise applications, including Symitar and Salesforce. 
    2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize projects, and develop roadmaps for application development and enhancement.  Assist in managing the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Responsible for managing and directing people and/or resources with fairness and consistency to meet departmental goals. Promote teamwork and encourage process improvement and efficiencies, while creating a positive work environment where employees feel recognized and valued. Responsible for evaluating employees, determining talents and development opportunities, and working with employees to improve performance, enhance skills, or create loyalty to the credit union. Conduct timely employee performance appraisals and coaching, and effectively resolve employee issues and performance concerns.
    3. Maintain security standards to address confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data.
    4. Develop process and technical recommendations to drive efficiency and productivity based on data collected, feedback from subject matter experts, and best practices.  Understands testing capabilities of systems/products, personally conducts necessary testing for system upgrades/new products, and develops comprehensive user testing opportunities, as appropriate.
    5. Understand the organization’s direction, structure, and initiatives.  Become the subject matter expert in various aspects of enterprise applications.  Effectively analyze current business processes and systems to identify potential opportunities, needs, issues, and problems that could impact business results. Synthesize data to support recommendations for action.
    6. Develop performance metrics and report statuses to appropriate levels of BHFCU management.
    7. Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to enterprise application management.
    8. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
    9. On call for supporting enterprise applications, to ensure issues are resolved as quickly as possible and projects meet delivery timelines.

     

    Other Duties/Responsibilities

    1. Maintain security standards to address confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data.
    2. Serve as back-up support to maintain and administer parameters, defaults and system settings within the Credit Union’s enterprise applications.
    3. Coordinate vendors and vendor relationships to maintain a positive working relationship that benefits the Credit Union and ensures reliable, high-quality service.
    4. Perform other duties as assigned by VP Enterprise Applications.

    Job Knowledge

    1. Knowledge of modern principles and practices of technology, systems integration, and project management.
    1. Knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar, composition, and arithmetic.
    1. Knowledge of Credit Union rules, products, services, regulations, and procedures.
    1. Knowledge of Credit Union philosophies, practices, policies, and interrelated functions.

    1. A strong ability to communicate with all levels of staff, stakeholders, vendors, and project teams. 

     

    1. Maintain updated knowledge of Credit Union rules, products, services, regulations and procedures.  

    Job Qualifications (Education/Experience)

    Position requires a four year college level of language, math and reasoning skills.  Ideal candidate should have at least three years’ experience deploying technology solutions and managing teams.  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business is preferred.

    This position requires flexibility and high professional standards of personal appearance, conduct, judgment, and the highest level of confidentiality.
