Are you skilled and imaginative in your writing, while possessing a keen sense for detail?

Shore Power is looking for a strong writer who is a bright, positive, and able to learn quickly. This position will learn to write original, exciting marketing copy that meets Search Engine Optimization (SEO) guidelines.

The only requirements are:

• Strong writing skills: create clear, concise, grammatically correct content
• Ability to learn quickly
• Strong computer literacy
• You must work in the office. No telecommuting.

Job Duties:

• Copywriting & Content Creation – develop and deliver e-commerce copy, including product descriptions, email content, banner ads, and more
• Researching customer behavior and applying newly found knowledge towards the development and creation of new content pages
• Learning, demonstrating, and using best practices regarding HTML5 and CSS3 guidelines
• Social media marketing for businesses (Facebook, Google , YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
• Video production - write, produce, and edit brief product demonstrations
• Product photography and photo manipulation
• Backlink development and management
• Monitoring and generating monthly reports of web rankings, organic traffic, and product performance

Some Qualifications and Values We Appreciate:

• An interest in Direct Marketing and Online Marketing
• High comfort level with software and technology in general
• Microsoft Office, HTML, Photoshop, social media, video editing

• Bachelor's degree preferred (not required), concentration in Business, Marketing or Communications a plus OR a previous internship or job experience.
• Experience with Magento, selling on eBay and/or Amazon
