Env., Health, and Safety Engineer implements and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Env., Health, and Safety Engineer is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineer serves as contact with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be an Env., Health, and Safety Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Position Highlights:
Primary responsibilities include delivering current NSC proprietary workplace safety & health training (virtual instructor-led & classroom), developing new NSC training and custom training for customers, presenting at conferences and events as a representative of NSC, serving as a subject matter expert/internal technical reviewer, and providing sales assistance as needed as part of an integrated sales effort that involves NSC sales team and technical staff.
What You’ll Do:
Course Facilitation/Instruction (70%)
Serves as subject matter expert (10%)
Provides sales assistance as needed as part of an integrated sales effort (10%)
Provides technical safety services to NSC (10%)
We’re Looking for Someone with:
Masters Degree - Safety management, business management, or other field of study with equivalent work experience. Work Experience - 10 plus years
