Position: EH&S Manager

Location: State College, PA

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Environmental Health and Safety related field or equivalent experience (relevant certifications and trainings may be substitute)
• Minimum 5 years of site safety management experience
• OSHA 30
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification
• Experience working on large projects in excess $10M range or higher.
• An in-depth knowledge of OSHA 1926 Regulations

Plusses:

• Recognized Safety Professional Certification (Examples: BCSP, CSP, CHST, ASP, GSP)
• OSHA 500
• 1st Aid/CPR trainer experience
• Spanish speaking ability

Day-to-Day:

A large general contracting client of ours is looking to bring on several site safety managers to support several large multi-million-dollar construction/expansion projects in the State College area. Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate pre-construction review and planning activities.
• Conduct frequent physical inspections of the site, risk assessments, review Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) documents and give feedback .
• Effectively communicate with all persons on the jobsite.
• Actively identify potential hazards.
• Notify responsible parties when immediate corrective actions are required.
• Effectively administer a progressive disciplinary program.
• Able to perform basic computer operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $67.00 per hour
