Engineering & Research Int'l, Inc., a civil engineering firm specializing in pavement engineering services, geotechnical investigation, and construction materials testing, is looking to fill a full time Engineering Technician position. Technical training for this position is provided and no previous experience is necessary.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Perform construction and materials inspection such as concrete inspection, asphalt density testing, geotechnical soil sampling, soil and aggregate compaction etc.
· Perform basic laboratory testing activities such as compressive strength testing of concrete cylinders, soils and aggregate testing etc.
· Evaluate, maintain and repair pavement data collection equipment.
· Provide assistance in modifying new and existing pavement data collection equipment through efforts that enhance safety, practicality, efficiency and overall robustness.
