Environmental, Health and Safety Director oversees organizational compliance with local, state and federal environment, health and safety regulations. Ensures that environmental policy and procedure manuals are available and updated at all times. Being an Environmental, Health and Safety Director ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, Environmental, Health and Safety Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The Environmental, Health and Safety Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     EHS Administrative Assistant Essential Job Functions:
    • Coordinate filing of confidential department files with accuracy, organization, and confidentiality
    • Manage expense reports for department and prepare purchase orders in SAP
    • Perform safety permit audits and participate in housekeeping inspections in the plant
    • Post investigations, monitor corrective actions, and track safety reports, permits, and audits for a safe and compliant environment
    • Compose routine documents and reports using Microsoft Office, demonstrating exceptional written communication skills
    • Maintain task analysis system, calculating and publishing Key Performance Indicators for effective reporting and analysis
    • Maintain department procedures, equipment, and inspection documentation, manage office supplies, travel arrangements, and meeting preparations
    EHS Administrative Assistant Minimum Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree* in Business or Office Administration is preferred
    • 5 years of administrative experience, demonstrating your ability to work independently and handle confidential information with tact and integrity
    • Experience with environmental, health, safety, and security requirements preferred; prior chemical plant experience preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and databases; basic knowledge of SAP preferred
    • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision, quickly grasp concepts, and prioritize tasks
    • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional service and building strong relationships
    • Ability to work successfully in a team environment, contributing to department and organizational success
    • Must obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and possess a valid US driver's license
    • Prior Olin experience in a related role preferred
