Environmental Manager oversees the analysis and evaluation of air, water, and land systems to determine if pollutants are present and directs the implementation of appropriate corrective action if necessary. Develops and plans policies and procedures related to air, water, and land systems in accordance with organization and government rules and regulations. Being an Environmental Manager evaluates operations and makes recommendations to reduce waste or pollution. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Additionally, Environmental Manager typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Environmental Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Environmental Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Overview:
    We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong strategic planning, process improvement, and sales skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams and driving business growth.

    Responsibilities:
    - Manage and supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
    - Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes
    - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
    - Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, operational teams, and C-level executives like chief operating officers and chief executive officers or in the current company status, the owners in order to drive business development initiatives.
    - Oversee project management activities and ensure timely completion of services
    - Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment
    - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development
    - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

    -Manage and monitor project budgets and finances

    -Emergency response information gathering, response assessment, response and flagging teams and equipment mobilization and demobilization

    -Non emergency response services scheduling

    -Direct emergency response communication with clients, enforcement agents/agencies, insurance companies, claims adjusters, attorneys, and stakeholders such as cities, counties, water, sewer, and electric, landfills, ODOT, OSP, EPA, DEQ, and tribal organizations, etc.

    -Manage permitting, locating, disposal estimating, contractor vetting and coordination of excavation sites

    Qualifications:
    - Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry
    - Strong knowledge of profit loss analysis and financial management principles
    - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
    - Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans
    - Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives
    - Proven track record in sales and business development
    - Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
    - Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
