Position Summary:

We have an immediate need for an entry-level or intermediate-level Equipment Manager who is responsible for coordinating internal and external resources to fulfill contractual project requirements, for communicating with customers on scheduling and equipment requirements. Equipment procurement and vendor timeline management are key functions of this role. The role’s primary objective is to manage procurement and fabrication of equipment and lead the procurement of buyout/ancillary components of equipment up to on-site arrival.

Some of the work that you will do:

• Assistance in selecting instruments and valves for major equipment.
• PID coordination for scope of purchase
• Parts Lists & Purchase Requisitions
• Assist & support purchasing in buyout phase
• Fabrication & Purchasing Tracking
• ITP’s – support development and generation of Inspection Test Plans for all fabricated items.
• Equipment Tagging, buyout inspections, shipment tracking
• Shipping and initial installation support
• Support management of equipment installations
• Oversight of laydown plan and equipment delivery sequencing
• ITP (Inspection Test Plan) completion & Inspection Packets
• IOM Manuals, equipment packages & manufacture data books
• Shipping improvements for all major equipment
• Signed ITP’s & inspection packets
• Shipping release forms & warehouse/logistic support
• Site support as needed upon equipment arrival and installation.
• Post Job review and closeout
• Domestic travel, up to 10%

Here are the skills that you need:

• Bachelors' degree or higher in a related field.
• One or more years of relevant experience, which can include internships or other equivalent work.
• Ability to complete either domestic or international travel, when needed.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Dedicated to see a project through to completion.
• Must have strong communication skills, including; clear verbal communication, logical written communication, and ability to listen and integrate instructions.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Basic algebraic math skills.

Here are the skills that will set you apart

• Structural engineering education or experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or relevant field, or the equivalent work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or Solidworks.
