ERP Administrator is responsible for the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Processes, validates, and maintains ERP data to ensure accurate system records. Being an ERP Administrator monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions. Assists and supports the planning, testing, and deployment of new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches. Additionally, ERP Administrator documents ERP system processes and may conduct end-user training to promote effective use and best practices. Tracks and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs. Maintains, generates, and analyses ERP reports to support organizational planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Salary Range $100K -$120K

     

    The salary range for this position is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, qualifications, skill level, and location. The final salary offer will fall within this range and will be commensurate with the candidate’s background and the specific demands of the role.

    Responsibilities

    The Intermediate DBA will be responsible for managing, maintaining, performance tuning MS SQL Server Databases in the MS Azure Cloud and ensuring all cybersecurity and DoD compliance requirements are met.  This position involves ensuring data integrity, optimizing performance, and supporting our team with database-related tasks. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring DB systems and services are certified for operational readiness (desired state configuration, security, health and performance).

     

    The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Design, install, configure, and administer database systems.
    • Implement and manage data security protocols, including access controls and encryption.
    • Create and manage DB schema objects including tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
    • Collaborate with developers and system administrators to integrate new features and resolve data-related issues.
    • Monitor DB performance, tune for optimal efficiency, and troubleshoot issues.
    • Perform DB tuning, coordinate application releases, and troubleshoot DB issues including slowness and latencies.
    • Patching the DB and applying any relevant product updates.
    • Addressing all identified SQL Server platform-related vulnerabilities.
    • Perform upgrades of the DB and software to new release levels and handle database migrations.
    • Recommend approach for separating transactional data and historical reporting.
    • Assist development with query construction and optimization.
    • Build the automation scripts for managing database infrastructure.
    • Implement database high availability solutions and multiple types of replications.
    • Establish metrics and observability of DB platform.
    • Work with team members to ensure technology is effectively supporting the enterprise.
    • Coordinate and assist with performing SQL DB STIG checks.
    • Support boundary accreditation DB efforts (e.g., site or enclave ATO requirements).
    • Maintain comprehensive DB documentation, including data standards, procedures, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists.
    • Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure database availability during outages.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

     

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in database administration.
    • Experience installing and operating MS SQL Server in MS Azure.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with refactoring old database systems
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive on an Agile delivery team.

     

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience implementing Azure SQL.
    • MS Certification(s) in Azure or SQL Server.

                 

    Work Authorization Requirements:

    • Must be eligible to work in the US and be able to obtain a Confidential (tier 1) clearance
