    ERP MDM Administrator, Information Technology, will report to the Director, Business Process Transformation & Delivery as part of the ERP Run Support Team. The ERP MDM Administrator will drive processing and maintenance of the Manufacturing & Supply Chain workflows within the Enterprise Resource Planning software.  Strong organizational and management skills are required to influence and align across multiple levels of functional stakeholders.  

    The ERP Master Data Management (MDM) Administrator, IT must have a service mentality, with the ability to evaluate data structures and workflows, to identify potential solutions and improvements, and to develop the future state with a tactical and achievable plan to implement updates or changes.  The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience with managing the technical aspects of the master data management system within an ERP software environment.  Programming capabilities are desired as the ERP MDM Administrator, IT will draw upon resources from functional area participants committed to the success of the Aspen team.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Engage with the Supply Chain & Operations Master Data Stewards to implement the appropriate supply chain network structure within the ERP system.
    • Ensure the quality and accuracy of connections and flow in key systems, as well as assist in the development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing data integrity.
    • Conducts & supports audits and identifies trends that may indicate problems with supply network models and structure. 
    • In collaboration with subject matter experts and departmental data stewards, define and implement control policies to ensure the enterprise planning data is accurate, complete, and functioning reliably.
    • Provide assistance in resolving problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, &/or network flow reviews.
    • Analyzes and resolves planning data issues, and manages modifications needed to best meet internal and external customer requirements while adhering to data controls.
    • Serve as the coordinator for the company in the generation of sourcing and distribution rules and maintain data integrity by facilitating updates and maintenance of data on an incremental basis.
    • Troubleshoot minor process issues/errors.
    • Troubleshoot master planning data errors per assigned domains.
    • Support master data record creation and change requests to determine accuracy and conformity.
    • Supports data cleaning activities to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access.
    • Interface with the organizational level Subject Matter Experts to ensure the planning assumptions and parameters to be set are accurate and reflective of Aspen’s day-to-day manufacturing & logistical processes.
    • Be main technical point of contact for Product and Planning Master Data Stewards.
    • Support improvement projects from a supply chain network planning perspective.
    • Audit master data record creation and change requests to determine if the submission meets the standards and guidelines of the business. 
    • Participate in data migration/data integration projects as applicable.
    • Research via various resources to validate key information.
    • Creation and maintenance of supporting records.
    • Ensure SOX controls are enforced and maintained by a thorough review of information/evidence provided.
    • Follow-up on any SOX controls variations to ensure appropriate action is taken.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:  

    The successful candidate will be/have some combination of the following:

    • An action-oriented individual eager to serve as an agent for positive impact.
    • Aptitude for &/or experience with being a process expert and providing guidance to stakeholders.
    • Understanding of modern Master Data Management Concepts and Data Quality approaches, tools, techniques, vendor landscape, and best practices.
    • Previous experience in master data processing and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in digitizing master data sources, along with experience in digitalizing ingestion workflows. Familiarity with tools and platforms that facilitate these processes would also be helpful.
    • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally, and externally.  
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to learn independently, proactively search for information, and positively interact with all levels of the organization.
    • Outstanding organizational and influencing skills.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Working knowledge of data and process analysis, along with performance/operational metrics
    • Demonstrated interpersonal and public speaking skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business, IT, Operations or related field and 3 years of experience in the areas of Sourcing/Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, and/or Demand Management is preferable.
