What We Need:

We are looking for an NC Programmer to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings Operations team in Muscatine, Iowa.

• Consistent, flawless execution of New Product Introduction, Product Changes and Specials
• Create, update and improve machine programs
• Implement laser cutting and forming process that connects product engineering and operations to improve PPAP pass rate.
• Identify and drive improvements in scheduling and capacity controls while tying improvements to key metrics for the area.
• Actively engage and participate in team’s objectives to meet 99% COT, 90% OOBA pass rate, below 1.0 TRIR and meet monthly cost goal
• Develop tools to help accurately predict and communicate production concerns to key stakeholders
• Partner with group leaders to understand labor expectations and vision for the area
• Root cause and correct machine program issues
• Maintain accurate timelines for new product launches, product design changes and program improvements
• Review machine capacities and balance work to reduce operator overtime
• Program specials in an accurate and timely manner, understanding correct flow for units
