Duties:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness and safety
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, including geometric dimensions and tolerances on prints
- Perform programming CNC machines using Master Cam software
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Maintain documentation of programming changes, tooling requirements, and machine settings
Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages used in CNC machining
- Strong tooling knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their proper usage
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
