Duties
- Manage the complete escrow process from opening to closing, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Review and prepare escrow instructions, contracts, and other related documents.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to facilitate timely communication and resolution of issues.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws throughout the transaction.
- Process loan documents and manage mortgage servicing tasks as required.
- Conduct thorough calculations related to escrow accounts, including prorations and disbursements.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure proper filing of documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar role within financial services or real estate.
- Strong knowledge of loan processing, mortgage servicing, FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and contract management.
- Excellent mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate calculations.
- Familiarity with escrow processes and procedures is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
