WHAT IS CAROLINA FAMILY ESTATE PLANNING ALL ABOUT?
The probate process and estate planning aren't known for being user-friendly. At Carolina Family Estate Planning, we strive to make the legal system accessible, even enjoyable where possible, for our clients to use. We are building a community of planners, where we have ongoing relationships with our clients that extend to their families for generations to come. Peace of mind is about knowing you have the right plan in place, and that takes a team that explains things in plain English and who follows through with what we say we will do.
We are proudly not Big Law, and we prioritize work-life balance for our team and having the agility to innovate for our clients. But we are big enough to have resources, like case management systems and processes, and a team of paralegals, legal assistants, and client care staff to drive prospective client outreach and originate new business. We have a diverse, technology-forward, optimistic culture, and we are known by our core values: integrity, proactivity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and thriving, personally and professionally. Our commitment to our team and our clients, and our unique approach have made us one of the fastest-growing firms in the country, year after year.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ATTORNEY AT OUR FIRM
The primary responsibility of attorneys at Carolina Family Estate Planning is to provide professional legal counsel, with clarity and compassion, to families who need help with the probate and trust administration process. You'll work with our team to explain to clients what is required to get their estate settled, what they need to do, and what our law firm will do to help them with it. Moreover, you'll play an important role in giving clients the peace of mind that they are in good hands with our team.
You'll work with our supporting team of paralegals and legal assistants to ensure all legal documents and correspondence are drafted correctly and that all legal filings are filed correctly and on time. You will use your expertise to help our non-attorney staff and other attorneys develop and communicate sound strategies for our clients' estates.
You'll also help our estate planning team by delivering presentations to clients that help them understand the tools we use to protect and pass on their estates. You'll help clients make informed decisions about how their plans should work. And once the plans are drafted, you'll help make sure their wishes are correctly communicated in their plans.
You'll meet with team members regularly to provide feedback and, working together, continue to improve the quality and efficiency of our services and client communication.
