Estate Planning Director directs all aspects of the estate planning function including sales, staffing, and supervision. Participates in training and estate planning workshops. Being an Estate Planning Director ensures that the agency stays abreast of regulatory guidelines and new trends in the field. Researches and advises on tax, technical, and legal questions. Additionally, Estate Planning Director introduces new life products to the field and contributes to design of related software and tools. May be a speaker at insurance conferences or meetings. Requires a bachelor's degree of business, marketing, or mathematics. Typically reports to top management. May require Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). The Estate Planning Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Estate Planning Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     The Executive Director manages the research and outcomes assessment activities of the College; The Executive Director focuses on the ongoing development and implementation of the college’s Strategic Plan. The Executive Director translates the strategic plan into concrete strategies, initiatives, and projects with measurable goals and objectives, and designs a project management structure to monitor, evaluate, and report to internal and external constituents.

    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.

    Experience working in strategic leadership, with leading teams in strategic planning and development.

    Understanding of data analysis.

    Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities

    Organizational and leadership skills.

    Demonstrated technical skills.
    Excellent communication skills.

    Desired Qualifications
    Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.

    Demonstrated experience in a collegiate environment with strategic planning.

    Demonstrated experience in a collegiate environment with institutional research.

    Demonstrated experience in project management.

    Demonstrated experience with student information systems, learning management systems, and customer relationship management systems.
