Estate Planning Director directs all aspects of the estate planning function including sales, staffing, and supervision. Participates in training and estate planning workshops. Being an Estate Planning Director ensures that the agency stays abreast of regulatory guidelines and new trends in the field. Researches and advises on tax, technical, and legal questions. Additionally, Estate Planning Director introduces new life products to the field and contributes to design of related software and tools. May be a speaker at insurance conferences or meetings. Compensation: Starting at $40,000. Estate Planning is an area of the law in which most paralegals have no experience. Typically, there is significant training on the job, and we are paying someone to learn for approximately one year before they can work independently. Salaries in our firm increase with experience and value added to each position.
