Traffic Safety Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator -Estimating Assistant for their Bismark, North Dakota location. You will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of all bid projects. This position is also responsible for various functions of project administration, including assisting with project startup and close-outs, billings, submittals, updating databases, obtaining permits, and other various project administrative functions.

KEY RESPONSILBITIES:

Support the estimating process by:

• Researching upcoming lettings.
• Printing job plans and addendums.
• Assisting the estimators in preparing the bids.
• Distributing bids to customers.
• Following up with customers on jobs that were bid.
• Maintaining a database of jobs that were won or lost.

Follow jobs awarded all the way through the process by:

• Setting up the jobs in the accounting system & mobile app.
• Preparing materials certifications.
• Obtaining and reviewing pay estimates; verifying quantities.
• Billing and following up on payment.
• Obtaining change orders.
• Reviewing jobs with branch managers monthly to update estimated costs and other job data.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have good oral and/or written English communication skills.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Must be a problem solver.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interact with customers.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
