Estimating Assistant

The Pangere Corporation is seeking an estimating assistant to join our Commercial Construction Division. The estimating assistant will assist estimators and project managers for construction projects across a variety of markets. Ideal candidates should be motivated individuals who are well organized, able to meet deadlines, and works well in a team environment.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

• Maintains and reviews specifications, drawings and addendums
• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Attend pre-bid meetings
• Review Shop drawings & Submittals
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members
• Assist team members in general construction and estimating administration duties
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, bluebeam as well as any project management and estimating software
