Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinates with the project teams in the assignment of project-related responsibilities to Estimating/Preconstruction Staff.
• In cooperation with the project Estimating team, plans and communicates to the project estimating team the vital goals of assigned projects in a project kick-off meeting using a prepared agenda based on the Project Kick-off Meeting Checklist.
• Creates bids in Procore’s bidding tool
• Managers bidding calendar for executives
• Responsible for bid document management (plan room, plans, specification, and bid list)
• Assist Estimators with Takeoffs and Subcontractor Coverage
• Supplies all Subcontractors with bid information and follow-up for bids.
• Completes phone calls for subcontractor coverage on projects.
• Assists in Bid Day procedures
• Completed Bid Forms and Pre-qualification Forms
• Handles pre-construction invoicing and price negotiations for reprographics
• Quantifies, analyzes, and disseminates, the detailed project program (i.e. work breakdown structure, room counts, functions, areas, etc) as needed.
• Directs, with the cooperation of Document Control staff, the distribution of project documents and vital project information to appropriate members of the project team and outside resources.
• Coordinates direct and follows up with project team to ensure timely completion of tasks associated with assigned bid projects.
• Coordinates with Logistics to accomplish vital bid project goals.
• Solicits collects and critically analyzes Subcontractor/Vendor budgets, bids, or quotations associated with assigned bid projects or packages.
• Fills in bid breakdown sheet on bid day for each Scope of Work and pricing
• Uses accepted templates for the preparation of estimates and clarifications, analysis of bids, calculation of alternates, and other tasks.

•  Assist in setting up projects, document uploads, and updating and maintaining cost data
• Uploading plans and documents to Bid solicitation software and sending ITB
• · Assist estimators in procuring bids and qualifying subcontractors
• · Perform High Volume of calls to subcontractors tracking bid responses.
• · Manage and organize bid documents, including Plans, Specs, Bid Forms, Addendums, RFIs, and Bid Date Changes on Procore
• · Process Submittals & RFIs

Qualifications And Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, phone demeanor, and organizational skills required
• Bachelor's Degree in a related Construction field, or relevant work experience
• Construction experience a plus
• Strong proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Knowledge of Construction software such as Building Connected, Planswift,
