Estimator Job Description

A leading excavating company is in immediate need of an Estimator! This candidate needs to be able to pay attention to detail, be a self-starter, and have at least 3 years of experience in the industry.

Estimator Responsibilities :

• Responsible to see out bid opportunities and submit bids for the company.
• Review plans and specifications, calculating quantities, gathering quotes and submittals and creating the bid.
• Coordinates pre-construction meetings, coordinate between the clients, project managers, field support, and office employees.
• Obtaining permits and licensing.

Estimator Qualifications

• BS degree in construction management, civil engineering, business administration preferred.
• 5 years of estimating for excavation, earthwork, grading, site development, and utilities
• Proficient with technology
• Strong work ethic, and good communication skills
