Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand each project's scope, requirements, and constraints.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services based on project requirements and industry standards.
• Develop comprehensive and competitive bid proposals, ensuring all costs are accounted for and pricing is competitive while maintaining profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and delivery schedules.
• Identify potential project risks and uncertainties and incorporate appropriate contingencies into estimates.
• Suggest cost-effective alternatives and value engineering options to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with the project management team to monitor project costs throughout the execution phase, making necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates, proposals, and related documents.

Qualifications:

• Ten years of electrical experience or two years estimating in the electrical industry
• Must have a Master electrical license
• Accubid preferred
