Position Overview
This position is responsible for preparing cost estimates for needed services, products, and/or materials, developing pricing schedules, bid proposals, contract administration, and examining the technical aspects of projects. The successful hire will play an integral role in assisting management with analyzing proposals, project timelines, and cost estimates to ensure competitive and profitable outcomes, while effectively working with varying seniority levels and external stakeholders.
This is on-site position performed from Bridgewater, NJ.

Responsibilities
· Carefully review and examine data and documents such as reports, purchase orders, and contracts, and financial agreements.
· Understand contractual terms, conditions, and legal requirements. Draft, verify, examine, and ensure proper filing of contracts.
· Efficiently collect information that will be used to produce project estimates.
· Establish accurate cost information required for projects.
· Draft budget, manage reporting, and payment schedules for projects.
· Project bidding.
· Create and issue forth change orders.
· Identify and evaluate technical issues related to projects. Effectively communicate with management with a solutions-oriented approach.
· Other duties assigned as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum 5 years of proven work experience with construction and bidding.
· Related warehouse estimating experience is a plus.
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Procore.
· This candidate will launch Procore for the company.
· Working knowledge of Yardi is a plus.
· Familiarity with accounting procedures.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
· Well-developed organizational and self-management skills, allowing to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
· The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately read and interpret drawings and specifications. You enjoy the challenges that come with a multitasking position from sales through the completion of building a project.
