JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Data and Analytic Operations, the Integration Developer provides analytical and technical support for the University's integration and reporting activities for the University's administrative computing systems.
The Integration Developer Analyst will be responsible for analysis, development, and production support of data integrations between Workday, and ancillary systems, as well as complex reports in Workday Prism and AWS Redshift. This resource will also be a backup on Informatica. He or she will collaborate with the IT staff, business unit specialists, and implementation partners to understand and implement overall integration requirements. Additionally, the position will oversee the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Workday and Snap-logic integrations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:

Participate in discussion about data needed for ERP integration, data integration hub and data warehouse using SnapLogic, APIs or Workday Prism.

Create and implement integration/ETL technical specifications based on business requirements and in alignment with industry best practices. Develop interfaces by integrating data shared across legacy, new development, and purchased package environments in Cloud as well as On-premise.

Develop solutions in Workday's Prism for reporting needs.

Validate data integration by developing and executing test plans based on various usecase scenarios.

Administer AWS, Snap-Logic and other tools that are required by the data and integration team.

Maintain repository of all ETL standards, artifacts, and procedures.

Become proficient in Workday report writing and report unit testing, Snap-Logic and Workday Prism.

Perform code reviews and migrations.

Act as a backup for Informatica, WPI's ID generation and match and merge tool.

Project Management and strong resource allocation skills.

Responsible for the development and documentation of reporting standards and best practices.

Provide support and maintenance of Workday reports.

Audit integration usage, memory usage, time allocation and report development.

Provide on-going support for integrations.

Collaborate and train functional users on new integrations

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Minimum of five years of related experience.

Experience with analysis, design, development, testing, implementation of integration solutions using cloud integration/ETL tools and technologies.

Ability to comprehend business functionality and translate to technical requirements.

Strong functional knowledge of core ERP business terminology, processes, practices, technology, and architecture.

Experience with writing and maintaining reports using standard reporting tool/platform.

Ability to recommend and implement solutions in accordance with industry best practices.

Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.

Manage multiple assigned tasks/projects with minimal supervision.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with diverse teams across all levels.

Experience with ERP reporting tools preferred.

Knowledge of Workday, Workday Prism and Snap-Logic preferred but not required.

Knowledge of Informatica preferred.

Higher education experience preferred but not required.
