Implements programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager communicates the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager conducts compliance monitoring, investigations, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. Manages the administration of confidential reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. The Unit Manager supervises staff assigned to the unit and oversees unit program. They perform liaison functions throughout the facility by attending a variety of administrative meetings, which links the unit to the total facility operation. This individual also provides for the unit to be fully staffed and oversees the manner in which manpower resources are expended in the unit. Lastly, they will monitor and assesses the unit's progress with an emphasis on remedying any deficiencies.
