Business Unit Manager
Job Purpose:
The Business Unit Manager, Customer Accounts will lead and evolve the SANM relationship with the customer to align our manufacturing and service strategy with the customer’s needs and expectations. This person will champion communication links with the plants, local program management and sales for a cohesive approach at account development while initiating and leading activities within SANM operations necessary to improve our operational metrics at the customer site. The BUM will manage operational issues directly with customers and maintain metrics as they relate to delivery, quality, profitability, inventory and revenue. This person will be accountable for increasing revenue within the framework of the awarded business and maintain 100% on-time delivery and manage measurement tools. Additionally, this person will work to achieve profitability for business unit assigned, while managing inventory levels of raw, WIP and finished goods.
Nature of Duties:
Develop relationships within target customer to manage new product introduction quotes, quarterly price updates, PPV reconciliation, inventory revaluation, order-commit process and E&O management and reconciliation.
Work with our global locations supporting the customer(s).
Be responsible for aggressively pursuing VI component business to ensure competitive take-away, market share growth and prime strategic positioning for future business successes.
Accountable for meeting and exceeding revenue and financial metric goals set by Management.
Communicate issues and problems back into the company and engage appropriate resources from cross-functional teams to ensure successful business execution.
Regularly update sales data system with customer data, new opportunity logs as well as helping create account strategies to drive satisfaction and growth with the customer(s).
