Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Specialist supports and coordinates the activities of the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Assists with the delivery and maintenance of programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Specialist prepares materials that communicate the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Supports or delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Specialist generates reports of compliance monitoring statistics, investigations, outcomes, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. May administer reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Role: Cost Planning Specialist

    Fulltime/Permanent

    Location: Lebanon , KY

    The Cost Planning Specialist is to complete the functions of reviewing cost planning information to ensure it reflects actual process/product condition, identify variances from the cost sheet and lead improvement activity to ensure profitability at SOP on an accurate and timely basis within the framework of the objectives and policies established by the PPCC Executive General Manager and Management.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Utilize existing standardized cost accounting methods and prepare cost accounting analysis and reports that help company identify weak areas that need improvement.

    Perform the cost planning process for new programs. This would include items such as a series of reviews of cost estimates both before and after SOP to determine if target profits are achieved, conduct cost reduction planning meetings with other departments to reduce cost of parts in new programs, attend trials to monitor cost results.

    Internal cost analysis and cost reporting for actual condition of products and processes. This would include items such as material prices, process improvements, process changes, actual labor, machine, overhead and defect rates, material usage (yield), variances from standards, actual cost vs. budget cost, etc.

    Identify and drive opportunities to lower the cost of goods manufactured and take a leadership role to implement corrective actions.

    Lead cost planning and cost simulation efforts towards achieving profit goals before SOP.

    Track tooling costs and reimbursements for new programs.

    Track ECI costs and reimbursements.

    Ensure product price (prototype through SOP) is entered by sales in a timely manner and is reasonable compared to actual cost.

    Maintain awareness and understand the roles and responsibilities regarding the environmental policies, management system, and objectives and targets by attending the required training. Perform all tasks in accordance with the EMS procedures and practices and minimize the impact of their activities on the environment.

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor degree in accounting related field preferred or one or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Clear, concise written and verbal skills and problem-solving skills required. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of team members.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    Computer proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is necessary. The ability to express numbers as a decimal, convert numbers into percentages and from percentages to whole numbers, ability to express numbers as a fraction and perform basic math operations using positive and negative numbers and as ratios or averages. Basic algebra along with knowing the order of operations to solve a math problem.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
