Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. coordinates the administrative work of the ethics and compliance function of the organization. Acts as a liaison with outside vendors to provide materials for the program including manuals and posters. Being an Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. receives helpline calls, faxes and emails from outside vendors, tracks issues and routes them to appropriate staff groups. Utilizes corporate software to input and track helpline call data. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. processes routine inquires and provides data in accordance with established policies and procedures. Codes and submits invoices for department charges, maintains tracking files, reconciles corporate credit card receipts and monthly statements for reimbursement, and prepares spreadsheets for charge backs to departmental cost statements. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill.     The Administrative Office of the Courts is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. This role is to strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and participating in rolling out BI solutions to end users. The Business Intelligence

    Analyst is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    1. Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
    2. Conduct research and make recommendations on BI products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
    3. Evaluate and select database/data warehouse components, including hardware, relational database management systems, ETL software, metadata management tools, and database design solutions.

    4. Direct, organize, and lead projects in the implementation and use of new BI software tools and systems.

    5. Lead the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.

    6. Work with developers to design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs.

    7. Develop the semantic layer, metadata, reports, and report definitions.
    8. Develop graphs and portal interfaces.
    9. Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.
    10. Analyze user requirements and based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications.
    11. Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system.
    12. Work with ITSD resources to ensure that data entry, retrieval, change, and delete functions meet business requirements for project completion.
    13. Conduct job duties and responsibilities according to the organization’s business systems development methodology and/or its Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.

    14. Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide technical support as necessary.

    15. Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree including, at least, six quarter hours in statistics, mathematics, and/or computer science and experience equivalent to two years of full-time professional work experience.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years direct work experience.
    • Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling.
    • Experience with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses, such as Oracle 9 i,
    • MS SQL Server, Crystal, SAP, SCM, and so on.
    • Expertise with data visualization products, e.g. Power BI, Tableau.
    • Demonstrated ability with MS Windows, UNIX, AIX, operating systems.
    • Demonstrated ability with industry best practice ETL tools.
    • Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications.
    • Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
    • Full project management and development life cycle experience.
    • Experience with database design applications
    • Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.
    • Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
    • Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
