Utilizes corporate software to input and track helpline call data. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. processes routine inquires and provides data in accordance with established policies and procedures. Codes and submits invoices for department charges, maintains tracking files, reconciles corporate credit card receipts and monthly statements for reimbursement, and prepares spreadsheets for charge backs to departmental cost statements. Business Intelligence Analyst
The Administrative Office of the Courts is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. This role is to strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and participating in rolling out BI solutions to end users. The Business Intelligence
Analyst is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
2. Conduct research and make recommendations on BI products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
3. Evaluate and select database/data warehouse components, including hardware, relational database management systems, ETL software, metadata management tools, and database design solutions.
4. Direct, organize, and lead projects in the implementation and use of new BI software tools and systems.
5. Lead the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.
6. Work with developers to design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs.
7. Develop the semantic layer, metadata, reports, and report definitions.
8. Develop graphs and portal interfaces.
9. Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.
10. Analyze user requirements and based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications.
11. Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system.
12. Work with ITSD resources to ensure that data entry, retrieval, change, and delete functions meet business requirements for project completion.
13. Conduct job duties and responsibilities according to the organization’s business systems development methodology and/or its Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
14. Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide technical support as necessary.
15. Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree including, at least, six quarter hours in statistics, mathematics, and/or computer science and experience equivalent to two years of full-time professional work experience.
