Hourly pay rate starting at $26.25.

Plus $50.00 per day for per diem.

Iowa Civil Contracting, Inc has been in business since 1972. We specialize in Total Pavement and Bridge Restoration. Crews work throughout Iowa, Nebraska, and other Midwest states.

Job Description 

• Equipment operators, working with one, or several of our construction crews.
• Performing duties assigned by supervisory personnel.
• Travel will be expected.
• You must have the ability and be prepared to move yourself from jobsite to jobsite.
• Prior construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate a 40k LB excavator or smaller.
• When operational duties are not needed, operator is expected to assist with other construction duties.
• Inspect and maintain equipment at a high standard.
• Pavement removals.
• Grading and subgrade preparation.
• Backfill and other dirt work as needed.
• Work on different projects that have various working hours.
• Arrive to work on time.
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisors.
• Skid loader, and other equipment operation experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Normal range of vision and hearing
• Capable of standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting
