JOB TITLE: Foreman/ Operator

Construction foreman and operator, in charge of site work.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily oversight, reporting, control, and installation of civil site designs; from simple drainage to full residential or commercial construction. Operating SANY75 excavator, and larger machines, when necessary. Supervision of a small crew, or independent work. Coordination with administration to ensure streamlined project management, whether small multi-day projects, or multi-month. Other related duties, as assigned.

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Machine maintenance, including oil changes, daily greasing and cleaning of equipment. Use of construction tools, such as cordless tools, demo saws, chain saws, compactors, and other necessary tools to install various types of pipe, septic systems, wells and water source connections, and electrical and other conduit. Familiarity and proficiency in the aforementioned systems. Layout skills, including the use of an auto laser level or transit. Fine grading of landscapes and lawns. Restoration. Subbase preparation for excavations. Clearing of land. Material trucking and coordination. Issuing daily report template with duties completed, materials and labor used.

COMPENSATION$22-$30/hr Negotiable, depending on experience, efficiency, and proficiency. Hourly, commission, or incentive-based compensation available.

a) Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

b) Mon-Thu 7am-5pm

c) Sat-Sun 7am-5pm

d) Fri-Sun 7am-5pm
