This is not currently a remote position. This position must be in-office weekdays 8:30am-5:30pm. Some remote/telework may be allowed after probationary period (90 days) with the potential to be fully remote in the future, but you will still need to be in the Tallahassee area to check mail weekly.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, picking up and sorting mail, digital and physical filing, printing, and preparing communication on management’s behalf.
- Responsible for keeping office space and confidential organization information locked and secured.
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records, including generating reports
- Performing minor accounting duties.
- Overseeing volunteers as assigned by management.
- Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and scribing minutes.
- Answering phone calls, including customer support, and transferring to appropriate team member.
- Managing meeting calendars, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.
- Other role-related tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Associate degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of experience in administrative, office management, customer service, or related field required.
- Prefer applicant with previous experience working as staff for an association/Familiar with association membership software (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and Zoom.
Other Criteria and Requirements:
- Level 1 background check will be performed.
- Dependable transportation required for weekly mail pick up and travel to up to 5 events within in Florida throughout the year.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and climb stairs unassisted.
- Will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and conflict of interest disclosure form.
