Executive Assistant provides multi-faceted administrative support and assistance to ensure effective use of an executive's time and productive interactions with staff and the public. Handles a wide range of administrative and support tasks and independently initiates and implements processes to manage projects, information, and people. Being an Executive Assistant manages the executive's schedule, meeting preparations, follow-up tasks, and complex travel arrangements. Conducts research and information gathering on behalf of the executive and prepares summaries and reports. Additionally, Executive Assistant develops positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization. Uses discretion, judgment, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate the executive's activities and maintain confidentiality. May be responsible for directing and deploying support staff or other resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to c-suite executive. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team! This is currently a temp role.

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for HR executive.
Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies.
Handle new employee onboarding.
Assist with administration of benefit plans.
Assist with talent acquisition as needed.
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
Assist with employee engagement activities.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities in coordination with HR team members.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Requirements
At least 2 years of proven experience in Human Resources role.
1 -2 years of recruiting and/or human resources related experience preferred
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Act as a reliable and supportive team member.
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of employment/labor laws.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional HR training and/or certification will be a plus.
