Executive Chef - Casino is responsible for all of the operations of the kitchens. Creates and updates menus to maximize profits and minimize loss. Being an Executive Chef - Casino tests and develops recipes. Monitors customer satisfaction. Additionally, Executive Chef - Casino maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food. Ensures that food and facilities meet all governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Executive Chef - Casino manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Executive Chef - Casino typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As Revel Chef, you'll manage the day-to-day kitchen operations of Revel Steak. In this role, you'll:

    • Execute all culinary activities and food preparation in Revel Steak.
    • Lead kitchen operations, including managing culinary personnel and ensuring an efficient and profitable restaurant.
    • Ensure food items are prepared according to standards of quality, consistency, and at the appointed time.
    • Manage storeroom to maintain costs and food specifications.
    • Ensure all health and sanitization practices are in place and in compliance at all times.
    • Develop new menu ideas and inspire creativity at all levels and food stations.
    • Maintain staffing requirements, and food and labor costs as determined by Executive Chef.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

    • College degree (preferably in culinary arts) or equivalent experience.
    • The ideal candidate will have at least five years of Sous Chef experience in a fine dining establishment.
    • Experience with food and labor pricing, menu development, and staff training.
    • Must have serve safe and/or HACCP certification.
    • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional guest service skills.
