Produce revenue through solicitation and selling insurance and related products to clients
Manage schedules and set appointments with prospective clients to discuss and handle insurance needs using independent judgement and discretion
Seek out new business opportunities by adding new lines of coverage or limits to existing clients, cross selling to other departments, and seeking referrals..
Foster strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and carrier representatives; and develop knowledge of carrier and underwriter administrative guidelines including online rating programs
Coordinate with Account Executives and Account Managers to provide assistance in determining proper coverages
Attend networking and community events in order to build relationships and create leads/referral sources
May coach and mentor Associate Producers and less experienced members of the department
Provide excellent customer service
Licensing: Must hold or be able to obtain a New Mexico Property & Casualty license within a given timeframe.
Experience: Previous experience in insurance sales is advantageous, though not mandatory for trainees. Previous general sales experience is required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for client interactions and internal collaboration.
Customer-Focused: Strong dedication to understanding and fulfilling client needs with personalized service.
Sales Acumen: A keen aptitude for identifying sales opportunities and closing deals is necessary for success.
