Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual, with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to oversee the day to day operations of the Pleasant Valley Community Center (PVCC). The PVCC Coordinator plans, seeks, organizes, directs and/or administers programs interfacing with volunteers or program instructors. The Coordinator is responsible for management and coordination of volunteers, managing rentals of PVCC facilities, revenue enhancement efforts, new program development, media relations and will be the primary citizen contact. In addition, will ensure effective and efficient office operations and program services and work with the PVCC Board on future visioning. A full job description is available upon request.
The candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience managing recreational programs or equivalent managerial or administrative work.
The position is part-time at 20 hours per week with flexible hours and attendance at events and meetings sometimes required.
