Evaluates displays to determine effectiveness and identifies potential areas for improvement to ensure display objectives are met. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Display Materials Handler will be responsible for moving merchandise from warehouse and
around floor under direction of Visual Coordinators and Team Leaders to creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of
merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales activity while abiding by all safety guidelines. Responsible for maintaining
a friendly and professional environment by acknowledging every customer and co-worker that approaches. Job requires being reliable,
responsible, and dependable. Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks. Perform any other duties as directed
by management.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: Assembly merchandise after it is unloaded and staged for the floor; move merchandise to the
floor using carts; move merchandise from on bay to another as instructed; making sure merchandise that is being displayed looks the best
possible way it can; change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion; Any other duties as requested by
management.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of up to 50 lbs repeatedly; ability to communicate
effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of merchandise handling procedures; knowledge
of employment and safety procedures.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to
perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking,
hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, and/or up to 25 lbs constantly to move objects.
Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled environment.
